CNTREAD ("the App") is developed by Tarlan Ismayilsoy. This policy explains what data we collect and how it's used.
When you add a book, the App sends the PDF to Google to automatically generate excerpts and highlights ("shots"). This means the content of your PDF is transmitted to and processed by Google's servers for this purpose. We do not use this content to train AI models, and it is not shared with anyone else.
Your books, reading progress, and generated shots are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data — such as app opens, screen views, and feature usage — to help us improve the App. This is separate from the PDF content described above and does not include your book text or notes.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect purchase-related data (e.g., transaction IDs, subscription status) to manage entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not collect your name, contacts, location, camera, or microphone data, and the App does not require an account or login.
We share data only with the service providers named above (Google, RevenueCat, Apple), solely to operate the App.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the update.
